The Writing Retreat from Heaven

At the beginning of 2015, I set myself a resolution that, quite frankly, scared the pants off me: to organise my very own writing retreat. 

                                                       Nnnnnnnnnaaaaiiiiidonnnwannnnaaaaaa!!!!

Mostly I was concerned that if anyone came, they'd discover my true nature...

And people wanted to come! *dances* Yippeeee! People just as weird as me. Aaaahhh. Myself, Kat Ellis, Tatum Flynn, Victoria Schwab, David Purse and Isabel Sterling went to a little-known Welsh village near a MAGICAL CASTLE and a MAGICAL BEACH and the weather turned MAGICALLY BEAUTIFUL and the stars aligned! 

Despite all the fun we had, I actually got a LOT done. Work included: Getting the base structure of my new novel sorted, writing brand new shiny words in the thousands, editing a completed manuscript (super secret and exciting!), getting my synopsis all shiny (yes, you have to keep writing those!), and reading to my heart's content!

It was brilliant, and I am so thankful to have shared this week with five amazing people. They are all brilliant writers, yes, but they are also genuinely lovely, caring, inspiring people. LOVE them all. Here is a video I compiled of the trip:
